His journey into the security industry began in the mid-’90s, during his college years when he joined a Security Guard company in Texas. Scott’s passion for the business became evident from the outset, and he quickly demonstrated his potential as a capable leader.

During his time in Dallas, Scott garnered extensive experience by working with three different Security Guard and investigation firms. His dedication and competence earned him the role of patrol supervisor, where he managed a team of 150+ armed and unarmed guards. This experience allowed him to understand the intricacies of ensuring client safety and asset protection in various contexts.

Transitioning into a role as an officer with the city of Dallas, Scott further expanded his skill set and knowledge in law enforcement and security operations. He took charge of critical responsibilities, including overseeing Diebold ATM guard operations and handling D.O.D. contractor installations, where he prioritized safety and excellence in all undertakings.

After relocating to Tennessee, Scott ventured into the electronic security field. However, he soon recognized the potential for an even greater impact in the industry. Pushing the electrical firm he worked with to tackle larger and more complex projects, he spearheaded the installation of fire detection systems, access control systems, commercial security solutions, and surveillance setups. His drive and vision transformed the firm into a pioneering contractor in the field of comprehensive electronic security.

Driven by a desire to make an even greater mark, Scott eventually decided to establish his own business in the industry. He sought out opportunities in Arkansas, where he sensed a burgeoning market for security services. Since his move to Arkansas, Scott has achieved remarkable success, creating and successfully selling two firms. Currently, he is in the process of acquiring a well-established company to integrate into the ever-growing Life Safety brand.

Under Scott’s leadership, Life Safety has emerged as the contractor of choice for numerous esteemed clients, including law enforcement agencies, school districts, and medical facilities. Outside of his professional pursuits, Scott remains deeply involved in the law enforcement community. He has served the Garland County Sheriff’s office both in paid and non-paid capacities, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to public service. Currently holding the position of Captain and Commander of the reserve unit and being a SWAT team operator, Scott continues to contribute significantly to ensuring public safety and security.
